Futurity B&B

Hospitality · New Quay, Ceredigion, Wales

The brief

Jane was doing something brave. She'd bought a property on the Welsh coast and was converting it into a boutique, dog-friendly B&B — with an opening date of March 2027 and, at the start of our project, no website, no brand, and no room names.

She needed everything built from the ground up. And she needed someone who'd make the whole process feel calm rather than complicated.

What we built together

One of the most complete projects I've taken on — strategy, brand, copy, and build all in one.

  • Brand identity — coastal palette, Fraunces headings, warm and considered throughout

  • Room naming — three rooms named after Jane's dog Maddy, the heart of Futurity

  • Website copy — every page, written in Jane's voice, first-person throughout

  • Custom Squarespace build — ticker bar, room cards, FAQ grid, dog-friendly section, paw SVG

  • Technical setup — domain, favicon, and SEO across every page

A note on this one

Jane isn't a tech person, and she had a lot on her plate — a relocation, a full refurbishment, and a business launch all happening at once. My job was to handle every decision and detail so she could focus on the property itself, and to make sure that when the site went live, it felt like her — not like a template someone had dropped her name into.

That's always the goal. This one just felt especially clear.

The result

A launch-ready website for a boutique B&B that stands out on the Welsh coast — warm, distinctive, and entirely Jane's own. Live at futuritybb.com ahead of a 1st March 2027 opening.
