AMARIS LUX PHOTOGRAPHY

The Challenge

Amaris Lux Photography is a refined, fine-art wedding brand built on emotion, quiet luxury, and beautifully observed moments. As Paul Stephen’s work evolved, the existing website no longer reflected the depth, pacing, or artistry of his photography.

The challenge was not simply visual — it was experiential. The site needed to feel calm, intentional, and immersive, while supporting large image galleries, editorial storytelling, and an international audience. It also needed to be intuitive to manage behind the scenes, without compromising the aesthetic restraint the brand is known for.

With the 2026 redesign, the goal was to elevate the experience even further — refining structure, improving flow, and ensuring the site continued to feel timeless rather than trend-led.

The Solution

The Amaris Lux website was reimagined as a digital gallery — a quiet, cinematic space designed to reflect the emotion and restraint of Paul’s work. From the first scroll, imagery leads the experience, supported by refined typography, a muted palette, and generous spacing that allows each photograph to breathe.

A bespoke scrolling hero gallery sets the tone, introducing the work slowly and intentionally before guiding visitors through an editorial structure built around storytelling rather than distraction. The Stories of Light & Love section became a central feature, presenting curated weddings and engagements that open into full, lightbox-enabled galleries for unhurried viewing.

Behind the scenes, the site was structured for flexibility and ease of use, ensuring future updates can be made seamlessly. The 2026 redesign builds on the original vision with greater clarity and confidence — quieter, more intentional, and designed to feel timeless.

Outcome

The result is a website that feels less like a portfolio and more like an invitation — into Paul’s world, his work, and the moments he captures. Calm, immersive, and quietly confident, the Amaris Lux site continues to evolve alongside the brand while staying true to its core.
