Amaris Lux Photography began as a simple redesign — and quickly became one of those rare, unforgettable studio projects where everything aligns: vision, artistry, and the kind of storytelling that lingers long after you close the browser.

Paul Stephen, the photographer behind Amaris Lux, captures weddings with a fine-art approach rooted in emotion, quiet luxury, and beautifully observed moments. The goal was to build a digital home that felt exactly like his work: timeless, cinematic, and intentionally understated — a space where each image breathes.

From the very first scroll, visitors are met with a curated hero gallery that glides gently across the screen. This bespoke scrolling feature was created to mirror the calm, immersive feeling of Paul’s galleries in real life — a soft invitation into the world of Amaris Lux.

The design leans into refined typography, an elegant, muted palette, and an editorial structure that allows the imagery to take centre stage. Every page was built with purpose: uncluttered layouts, thoughtful spacing, and lightbox-enabled galleries that open each photograph into a moment you can truly sit with.

One of the standout elements is the Stories of Celebration section — a collection of hand-picked weddings and engagements that showcase Paul’s signature approach. Each story links to its own full gallery, allowing visitors to wander through the details just as they would a physical album.

This project will remain a studio favourite for years to come — a true meeting of design, storytelling, and heartfelt craftsmanship.
