Tips for Staying On Schedule
A Friendly Guide from Bright Horizon Creative
We’re on a journey together to bring your beautiful new website to life—and staying on schedule means you’ll get to enjoy it sooner! This guide will help you understand what keeps our project moving forward smoothly (and what can cause delays).
🗓️ 1. Know Your Milestones
You’ll receive a timeline with key project phases and review points. Keep these dates in your calendar so you know when things are due and when to expect updates from me.
Bright Tip: Treat website deadlines like real appointments—your future self will thank you!
📥 2. Submit Content On Time
Missing content is the #1 cause of project delays.
Use the Content Checklist to gather everything upfront (text, images, logos, etc.). If anything’s missing, just let me know—I’m here to help.
Bright Tip: Done is better than perfect. We can refine things together later.
💬 3. Communicate Promptly
During the design and build phases, I’ll need your feedback to keep going. The sooner I hear from you, the sooner we move to the next step!
Try to reply within 2–3 days of receiving design previews or questions
Consolidate your feedback in one message if possible
Be honest and specific—your input shapes the end result
🧘♀️ 4. Set Time Aside
Even if you’re busy (and I know you are!), set aside short windows each week to review designs, respond to emails, or collect content. A little time regularly goes a long way.
Bright Tip: 30 minutes each week can keep your project right on track.
🛠️ 5. Trust the Process
I’ve designed this process to be simple and stress-free. If we each do our part on time, everything flows beautifully. If life gets in the way, just communicate—flexibility is always possible with notice.
✅ Your Commitment = Momentum
Your website is a powerful part of your business’s next chapter. Staying involved and responsive helps us make magic—without unnecessary stress or delays.
You’ve got this—and I’ve got you!
